As a provider of services to profoundly disabled people the quality of staff recruitment, induction and training is vital in providing a workforce with the essential qualities, knowledge and understanding to support vulnerable people. The quality of the service provided by the staff is fundamental to the success of the organisation. 

It is recognised that the basic qualities required are based on the character and nature of a person. If they possess these qualities, the training plan can prepare them to work with very special people. Spectrum Days (Days) aims to have the Care Certificate to be completed by all staff. Staff who choose to complete an apprenticeship can do so alongside training for the Care Certificate.
